Pulling the Engine 2011

After all the nastiness of 7 years of bad motoring, I've decided to pull the diesel and rebuild her. This is a major mind-expanding effort, something I have never done before, but I figure, I can get it out, take it apart and put it back together again...right?

So we are trying hard to get JJ to both the Great Chesapeake Schooner Race (to at least CROSS the START line before we withdraw) and to attend the Cambridge Schooner Rendezvous this year.

We need to make this - it'll make the Autumn all that much sweeter. JJ has a new radio, a new GPS, some new chart plotting software and we hope the engine is tiptop shape for her long Excursion to the wild waters of Annapolis and Cambridge. (Oh yeah? she's a little boat after all is said).
